Our team at GoAfrica works together with the aim of making holidays to Kenya and East Africa possible for everyone
Some words about Yvonne
Yvonne is originally from the Netherlands, and began her career in tourism working for a large European Tour Operator
in various destinations around Europe. In 1991, she was posted to Mombasa, Kenya for a short stint. As so often happens, she fell in love with Kenya
and chose to make it her home. With safari being her passion, Yvonne started arranging trips for people for whom the experience of the African Bush
would be only a dream, or a documentary on television. She also developed a love for photography to capture the beauty of the wild.
She also arranges trips for those with a similar passion for the visual arts.
Yvonne is also the co-founder of Diani Children's Village,
a home for orphaned and abandoned children. It has now become an important rescue centre for abandoned children.
Yvonne and the others
Together we all have over 20 years experience in tourism and hospitality industry. It has been a long time dream for us to create opportunities for travelers with a disability to enjoy the beauty and diversity of this part of the world – our home. Over the past few years we have done a lot of research and training to make this dream a reality. We are proud to be part of the group that pioneered the Bradt Travel Guide Book Access Africa by Gordon Rattray. It’s now our job to ensure we make your dream holiday possible.

Assisted Travel
Sometimes travel is much easier with someone who can help you with daily tasks, like dressing, shopping, changing money and getting around. For anyone who feels they need assistance along the way, our guided safaris/holidays with one of our trained team-members is ideal. Let us know in which areas you require assistance by our contact form, and we'll be there.
